Ratings -- Chemical Effect
  • A = Excellent.
  • B = Good -- Minor Effect, slight corrosion or discoloration.
  • C = Fair -- Moderate Effect, not recommended for continuous use. Softening, loss of strength, swelling may occur.
  • D = Severe Effect, not recommended for ANY use.
  • N/A = Information not available.

The information given in this table is only a guide and has been compiled by accepted industry knowledge and field experience of engineers. It is designed ONLY as a guide and each individual media should be tested to confirm acceptance. Every application is different and warrant no liability of its use.

These ratings are based on room temperature (22°C) and for a 48 hour period only. All chemicals behave differently with different pressures, temperatures, environments and concentrations so a material or elastomer may fail even after an initial test.

Personal protective equipment must always be used when in vicinity with chemicals. Serious injury may result.
